What is the Wildlife Baby Shower?
The Wildlife Baby Shower is a free-to-attend fundraiser thrown every year by the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center to help raise money for the thousands of wild babies we take care of every year! There are raccoons, hummingbirds, ducklings, opossums, finches, gulls, squirrels, and so many more infants that are orphaned and in need of help, and taking care of babies takes a lot of time, effort, compassion, and money. We have hundreds of volunteers to put in the time and effort. We need YOU to help us with the compassion and money.
What can I do there?
There are many exciting booths with activities for all ages that families can visit for free to learn about our local ecosystem, wildlife, and community. At our booths, you can purchase exclusive merchandise and make donations. There will be two food trucks if you get hungry and a coffee vendor. You’ll also be welcome to walk back to the Magnolia Marsh with the Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy. Plus, you have the chance to take a tour of our wildlife hospital for a discounted rate of $5 per person. Inside the hospital, you’ll learn about what we do, and you will get a look at volunteers caring for some of our patients.

This fundraiser will help us help our patients by making it possible for us to buy things like food, medication, cleaning supplies, and enrichment. You also support our highly trained staff who work long hours to ensure quality care for every single patient that comes through our doors.
